Give your old clothes a new life! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn creative upcycling techniques while transforming a pre-loved garment into something fresh and unique. No sewing experience necessary—just bring your creativity and a garment you’re ready to reimagine! There will be a basket of garments available to use as well. This workshop is 2 hours.

Build your skills in this hands-on Sewing Techniques Workshop, open to all levels. Learn essential methods like seam finishes, installing regular and invisible zippers, making fabric binding, attaching trims, and more. You’ll leave with a binder of samples you create—perfect as a reference for future projects. This workshop is 90 min and is adult only.

You will get hands on personal instruction to meet you where you are wether you are brand new to sewing or need a refresh.

Closest subway stations are the 7 or G train. It is a 7 minute walk from the 21st - Van Alst station G and the Vernon Boulevard - Jackson 7 train station.

All supplies are included. If you have your own sewing machine and supplies you would like to use you are welcome to bring those with you and learn on your machine. Feel free to email me with any questions.
